A Route Accounting application keeps track of  pick-ups or deliveries made by fleet drivers at multiple locations. Instead of relying on pen and paper to keep track of each individual transaction, a hand-held device is used to accurately track goods, take customer payment, print receipts, and even take new orders. Route Accounting is equally applicable for making deliveries and for picking up goods. It can be used both for external applications, like delivering flowers around a city, or internal ones, like delivering parts and tools around a large factory or construction site.

The following table lists just some of the features and benefits of a typical Route Accounting application. Unique aspects of your business will dictate other creative and beneficial uses.
