NJE designed a system that utilized both active and passive RFID technologies. Active RFID tags and readers were used to track the vehicles and crates used to transport livestock among various facilities. Passive tags were used to track individual animals.

Real-Time Data Processing

 

Information from all RFID readers, both passive and active, is collected and transmitted to the central headquarters in real-time, where authorized individuals can view the on-going status of the supply-chain. Moreover, the system generates real-time alerts whenever anomalies are encountered, enabling management to take immediate corrective action.
